Still revising THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE and SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Problems are keeping from wireless printing from my laptop. Some choice words have been said, prayers have been offered and now if I can’t find a solution I guess I will pay my computer guy to take 3 minutes and fix my problem.

Revising THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE. Working on the first five chapters and really needed some attention. I still need to condense the run away carriage scene because it is in two parts at the moment. Maybe I should make it only one after the girls’ carriages pass the review stand. See if that is possible.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Carnival season is in full bloom in Louisiana. Hoping all the debutantes are getting their dates and dresses in order and having a great time.

Still working on the revision of SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD and revision of THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE.  It is nice to revisit a completed manuscript that you haven’t seen in years. THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE  is the first completed YA novel I wrote. I researched at the Writer’s Cneter in the French Quarter and getting background and notes about New Orleans 1872. I love my character and her situation.

Lily’s Lagniappe: The super bowl teams are set and I hope that the Philadelphia Eagles beat the snot out of the Patriots.

The revision of SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD continues. I have also decided to go back to THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE. I really want the very first novel I wrote to get a fair shot at printing. I believe it to be a good premise but it must need more drama. Maybe during revision I can the needed drama for editors and agents to give it a look. I also need to work on synopsis and query letter for THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE.

Lily’s Lagniappe: The LSU Baseball and Softball teams are gearing up for a great start to the season. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
