Lily’s Lagniappe: The LSU Women’s Basketball team won their game today. The LSU Baseball team lost today to the Texas Longhorns. The LSU Tiger softball team lost today also. The spring sports are in full swing and the season is just beginning.
The Storyteller Academy lessons are helping me get a picture book ready for several submissions of 12 X 12. Hopefully I can get good feedback from the agents or editors. Still revising SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD and THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The LSU Tiger baseball team made mince meat last night of UNO. It is the only time the Tigers play UNO this year. Texas comes in this year for a 3 game series. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Met writers meeting for breakfast today. Different breakfast and threw the wait staff. Read some picture books recently and realized that they are simplistic in their structure but not their message.

Revising and working through Storyteller Academy modules. Revising my two young adult novels SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD and THE RELUCTANT DEBUTANTE. need new ideas about picture books. This new practice of three pages a day seems to bring some benefit.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The Olympics start today from South Korea. I will watch because I do love the Olympics.
Revising two young adult novels and also taking picture book classes from Storyteller Academy. I hope to finish the revisions pretty soon and then try to attract an agent and get things rolling. I can continue to write and perfect picture books along the way.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Well, losing a 5 star to Alabama wasn’t the way I wanted NSD to go but I want players that want to be as LSU. They try harder, learn more and perform better on the field. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
