Working on several short manuscripts for contest entries. Also revising YA novel still going pretty well. Switching between manuscripts helps me not be too bored with one or the other.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The folks in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and the Central area are still in a state of flux. So many rebuilds and not enough contractors, reputable contractors, FEMA not doing their jobs, federal inspectors taking too much time to do their inspections and mostly no one seems to understand that things are not what they should be. Pray for these folks.
Revising on the YA novel still going well. Soon to be imputed into computer then print out again and start third revision. Still thinking over the fractured nursery rhymes in my mind.
Lily’s Lagniappe: LSU Tigers go on their second road trip of the year to Auburn University. Let’s bring home a win!!
Up early this morning and thinking about YA novel and the revision in process. Also thinking about nursery rhymes that I can fiddle with a little bit.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Please don’t forget the folks in Louisiana. The Red Cross has been horrible to folks in the area. Physically throwing them out of the shelters. Samaritan’s Purse is still on the ground and helping folks at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. Please make donations to them.
Continuing to revise the YA novel. Today wrote more into the pages helping out with transitions. Need to work on nursery rhymes trying to put a cute face on some unique rhymes.
Lily’s Lagniappe: LSU has Mississippi State tonight in Tiger Stadium. Hopefully the rain stays away. No injuries, please. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Nails done, working on writers group submissions for meeting. YA novel revising going on. Also taking second part of SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD for group to revise for next meeting.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Tough drive over the weekend. Trying to rest up. Tigers play Mississippi State in Baton Rouge this weekend.
Heading back to Gatlinburg tonight. Hoping to get AC fixed. This is a day when our country was attacked. Please God keep us safe from this kind of attack.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The Tigers won last night and now I am headed back home. Stopping in Gatlinburg. Tomorrow head home.
Spent the day with my Aunt that is having breast cancer surgery on Monday, September 12th. Tomorrow going to LSU vs Jacksonville State at Tiger Stadium.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The day was great but the devastation in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs is hard to look at. My family though struggling are managing to see steady progress. It is slow but beginning to make real strides toward having walls again and floors.
