Revising SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Also thinking about a book called LITTLE GIRL LOST. Not sure if it should be YA or MG. Mystery or just a coming of age. Well, well things will show themselves in due time.
Lily’s Lagniappe: July 30th was move in date for fall ball at LSU. It’s getting close to college football kickoff. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Revising SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Going to try and finish the revision as quickly as possible.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Going to see my Dad on the 2nd of August. My sister and I are going together in coach. Well, at least we are going through Dallas. Two hours there and then two hours to Tucson.
Continuing to revise SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Beginning the last portion of the book called SOUL. How can Cammie heal her soul? Will she find her way back to a new normal or will she ever return a normal she can live with?
Lily’s Lagniappe: Coach Orgeron is getting the LSU Tigers ready to make a great move in the SEC West. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Continue to revise SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Hoping to get fresh eyes on it at the SCBWI CAROLINAS conference in late August. Paid for a critique and should have some new insight on it at that time. Also have a new genre I am exploring and hope to have news on that soon.
Lily’s Lagniappe: The gloom is still over my family. I hope that we can move forward loving and remembering with great memories. We miss his laugh and his brightness.
Continuing to revise SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD. Just about to complete two-thirds of the novel. Hopefully my critique at the conference will also have words of wisdom for me.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Football season is less than 50 days away. Today on ESPN2 Coach Ed Orgeron was on the Golic and Greeny or Mike and Mike show today. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Revising again but I am spotty at best where concentration is involved. Hoping to get one chapter ready for tomorrow’s writers meeting. The last chapter in MIND section of the book. The next meeting will be for the last section called SOUL.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Even though plenty condolences have been received there are those who judge the choices made by his parents, misinterpreting the choice. Just can’t help some people.
Mourning covers every aspect of your life. Every decision, every choice and every thought is colored by a huge cloud of greyness, doubt and missing pieces of my family.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Sad, trying days ahead. We miss our boy. Keeping special thoughts and knowing he’s in a better place.
A huge balloon on sadness is upon us today. A beloved member of our family has departed way too early from this earth. All I can say is no longer are there trials, struggles, pain, and suffering. He is at peace! I love him and will miss him greatly. Fly high!
Lily’s Lagniappe: The unspeakable sadness that prevails when someone leaves this earth way too soon is hard for a family to deal with. Faith and a belief that he is in a far better place, we will go on but we will never forget our precious boy.
