Continuing to revise BASKETBALL BALLERINA even getting Nicky to give me some Italian terms to interject into manuscript. But not working on SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD for the manuscript critique at the conference.

Rewrote the beginning to BASKETBALL BALLERINA and sent it to my writers group. It is better but not quite what it needs. Sarah Aronson’s critique was even more helpful. She suggested I start in Italy then tear Lizzie away from the life she’s had.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Hoping soon to know about SCBWI  conference in late Sept. Registered for it.

The first pages webinar said my title and the beginning of the book didn’t match. This is true. So if I started in Italy then this chapter would come later and add to the tension.

Lily’s Lagniappe: It is a long summer drought with no college football. Coach O and his staff are out recruiting and seems like we’re doing well.

Lily’s Lagniappe: LSU’s Beach Volleyball teams seem to play year round. Doing very well in contests. GEAUX TIGERS!!
