The quarantine has taken toll emotionally, spiritually, and physically on most citizens. Shelter at home is the edict for the month. No going out unless essential travel. Groceries, car things, doctor appointments, etc.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Staying at home and inside is hard. No human to human contact is hard. Thankfully Chelsea shares Rhett.

There has been no good news about the stopping of the spreading of the covid-19. Now, they are recommending the general public to wear a mask. There are none available. We will come out of this but I am not sure if life as we knew it will ever be restored. Writing but not really concentrating well these days.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Coach Orgeron filed for divorce in February and made the headlines today. On April Fool’s Day it breaks into the news. Hurtful to think that Coach O and Kelly are splitting but only they know the truth.

February/March 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic

It has been horrible watching friends, neighbors, communities, State and Federal officials try to keep the majority of Americans safe. The cavalier attitude of spring breakers, the New Yorkers fleeing their homes in NYC to go to the coastal area of NC and SC where they have homes and not quarantine themselves for two weeks inside spreading the virus, and selfish individuals who have no concern for their fellow man. What has been remarkable is the dedication of doctors, nurses, maintenance workers, grocery clerks, pharmacists and vet techs that take care of folks and pets during these desperate days.
