Mailed in manuscript for critique at conference in late August. Looking forward to hearing what someone else has to say about the manuscript. I’m hoping to get ideas to make manuscript stronger and easier to sell.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Yesterday began SEC media days at the SEC offices in Hoover, Alabama. Orgeron and several of the LSU football players were their. Guice, Chark and LaCourtier. Guice wore a salmon suit. YEP, salmon. If you are man enough to wear a salmon suit I guess you can tell the world to go away. Media really stoking the fire between LSU and FLORIDA about the Homecoming Game in October. Guess time will tell. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Revising SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD with my critique group. I am going to send SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD to the SCBWI CAROLINAS conference for critique. It will cost me fifty dollars but it may be worth getting some fresh eyes on the first part of the manuscript.

Lily’s Lagniappe: Storms are very active this year. It is so wet in my neck of the woods I’ve lost a tree. I hope I don’t lose any more.
