Still revising and trying to write new manuscripts. Trying to get FLIES IN THE OUTFIELD ready to send to Stephen Fraser. Hoping to hear from Ripple Grove Press in early 2017.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Well, Trump has won the Presidency. Some happy and some sad.
Revising short fiction and chapter book, FLIES IN THE OUTFIELD, as well as YA novel SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD.
Lily’s Lagniappe: LSU TIGERS play Alabama tonight. It is painstakingly sad that I have to listen to Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson on CBS while my Tigers play.
Thinking about starting two new manuscripts during this month. But need to finish revisions first. Want to get chapter book to Stephen Fraser first, then send out YA novel to agents.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Waiting to hear from Ripple Grove Press about THIS OLD MAN.
Halloween in my neighborhood is sad. I had two trick-a-treaters. Two! Good thing I didn’t buy candy. Revising a chapter book and YA novels at the same time. Jumping into different ages is difficult at times.
Lily’s Lagniappe: Dad is coming in this weekend. He is staying until the 16th. Then Brooks and I are heading to the Great Wolf Lodge.
